The Ingham County Legal News is a weekly legal newspaper, which began publishing on September 15, 2005. It caters to the legal and business communities of Ingham County.
The Ingham County Legal News provides information regarding marriage licenses, divorce judgments, bankruptcies, death notices, new businesses, new mortgages, new corporations, assumed names, warranty deeds, public notices of mortgage foreclosures, orders to answer, probate notices, name changes, etc. The Ingham County Legal News also includes in-depth feature stories as well as Ingham County Bar Association news, law firm news, election coverage, university items, and news from Michigan appellate courts including the state Supreme Court.
In September 2006, the Ingham County Legal News will be a “paper of record” and be eligible to publish all legal notices required by statute.
